Eight things you can hold us to

• Your patients' records stay on your own computer

  Nafsi is a desktop app and the record lives on your machine. There is no cloud sync, and nothing is uploaded, ever.

• Encrypted on your device from the first launch

  You don't switch it on, and there is no unencrypted mode to forget about.

• Works fully offline

  Nafsi does not need an internet connection to run. A dropped line is an inconvenience, not a clinical problem.

• We never receive your patient data

  The only thing we hold is the email address on your licence. There is nothing of your patients' for us to lose, hand over, or be asked for.

• A stolen laptop yields nothing readable

  If the machine leaves your clinic, the records on it are not readable.

• Your backups are yours

  They go to a folder you choose, protected by a password only you know, and they never pass through us.

• You can export everything and walk away

  CSV or JSON, whenever you want, whether your licence is current or not. No lock-in.

• No analytics and no trackers in the app

  Nafsi sends no telemetry and runs no crash reporting. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected.

What happens if…

…your laptop is stolen

The records on it are not readable. Restore your most recent backup onto a new machine and carry on — your licence moves with you, one computer at a time.

…your laptop dies

The same answer: restore from a backup. This is why Nafsi can run backups on a schedule to a folder you choose. Set that up on day one, rather than the day you need it.

…you stop paying

Your records stay on your computer and you can still export all of them. You lose access to new updates, not to your data. Nothing is held hostage.

…you want to leave Nafsi entirely

Export everything as CSV or JSON, keep the files, and uninstall. On our side there is nothing to delete but the email address on your licence — ask us and it's gone.
